Kick Start Your 2020 with These 5 Practices!

Happy New Year!!! I hope everyone brought in the New Year with the people that matter most, doing exactly what you wanted to do. Even if that was having a quite night alone in your own space.

Journal

Journaling is always a great way to get your spiritual energy and thoughts going. As we bring in the new year I would recommend journaling on things you want to let go of from the past year and things to look forward to in the new year. Write out a few solid goals in vivd detail that you want to pursue… it’s now time to focus on those things! Write out any emotional break throughs or feelings you want to release. Self Care

Self Care is an absolute Must!!! To get the most of your New Year rejuvenation how could you not indulge in your fave self care rituals?! I would do your favorite facial mask, dig in deep with a steam before and exfoliation. Ooo baby lol. I would then exfoliate my entire body followed with a soothing warm bath with candle light, incense, a glass for wine or champagne while playing your favorite tunes. Those are just a couple fun relaxing rituals to start. I would love to hear some of your self care rituals below.

Medtition

Meditation is one of my favorite things to do. I’m no expert but I know I feel better after doing it and doing it consistently, on a daily basis. It helps me slow down from the day and is truly a breathing exercise/practice for my brain. I feel like a lot of people shy away from meditation because they feel as if “they arn’t doing it right” but to me theres no right way. I like guided meditation, especially when I was starting out. The Insight Timer App has great meditations categorized to make the search for what you are looking for a lot easier.

ritual

So I love a good ritual! Especially during the Full and New Moon. During this time rituals for prosperity, abundance and letting go are great to practice. I would look up rituals that you want specially. Here is an abundance ritual I like. If you don’t have all of the materials no worries, improvise and make it your own! Abundance Ritual

Movement/ Yoga

Move your body Love! It will feel so good to move, stretch, dance… all that! lol I love a good yoga flow especially for rejuvenating the soul. If you need a guided yoga try Yoga with Adriene. She is my fave yoga instructor for at home practices. Yoga With Adriene
