The Benefits of Dry Brushing.
When I first learned about Dry Brushing I was a little unsure about it. Brushing your dry skin with a brush doesn't sound relaxing... it sounds like it hurts! lol Once I tried it out though I loved it and the benefits that came from brushing.
Dry Brushing is a great ritual to add to your shower routine. It's a natural exfoliant that stimulates the lymphatic system and blood circulation all at the same time. This is especially good to do during the winter months.
Dry Brushing helps detoxify by increasing blood circulation and promoting lymph flow/drainage. In addition, it unclogs pores in the exfoliation process. It also stimulates your nervous system. After brushing all over you will feel refreshed!.. I promise!
You want to use a natural stiff-bristled bath/shower brush, preferably with a handle long enough to reach your back.
When you brush you must brush in a specific direction. Start from the feet and work my way upward in long fluid strokes. I move in the upward direction. It can be sensitive on the abdomen, breasts and neck, so lighten up pressure if needed.
Benefits:
1. Helps reduce the appearance of cellulite
2. Eliminates Dead Skin
3. Enhances Blood Circulation And Cleansing Of The Lymphatic System
4. Promotes Even Fat Distribution
5. Enhances Nutrients Absorption By The Skin
6. Rejuvenates The Nervous System
7. Smooths And Tightens Skin
8. Relieves Stress
Happy Dry Brushing! I hope you enjoy it!
