DIY: Honey + Cinnamon + Nutmeg Facial Mask.
Set the mood with candles and relaxing music of your choice. I like to first cleanse my face and start with a facial steam to open my pores. This steam is great for the skin and it really puts you in a zen, spa like mood! After pat dry with clean towel. Next, apply mask! I like to apply this particular mask with my fingers because I like to massage it into my face. Move in an upward motion while applying the mask. Leave on for about 15 to 20 mins.
I then like to massage and exfoliate my skin by moving in circular upward motions. Do this for about a minute and then rinse. Pat dry and apply your fave serum, eye cream and moisturizer. I usually like to do this before bed so I the product seeps in during the night. Try this one day and let us know how you like!
I love a great med spa facial, fun new in store sheet mask find or my fave go to mask but when none of those are available or when I'm feeling creative I like to do a DIY facial. I find this particular to be super effective and most of the items you probably have stocked in your kitchen. Fun fact, this mask works as a mask and exfoliator which I really like too!
Let's get to it!
For the mixture, you first need Honey, Cinnamon, and Nutmeg. Mix 2 tablespoons of honey with 1 tablespoon of cinnamon and 1 tablespoon of nutmeg. I usually don't measure it out just mix and add until I have a nice smooth thick consistency.
