To make this Golden Milk, first create a mixture with plant based milk, honey, turmeric, vanilla, cinnamon and black pepper. Adding black pepper to golden milk actually increases your body’s ability to absorb the active ingredient in turmeric, curcumin.

Golden milk recipe

* 2 cups coconut milk, almond milk or cashew milk

* 1 tsp ground turmeric

* pinch black pepper

* 1/4 tsp ground cinnamon

* 1-2 tbsp honey

Optional:

1/2 tbsp coconut oil

ginger

cardamom

peppercorns

vanilla extract or vanilla bean

Instructions:

*Add all ingredients to a pot over medium heat and bring to a simmer. Simmer for 10 minutes to let the flavors meld.

*Pour into a cup and enjoy.
