Puerto Rico: A Quick Vacay, Birthday Surprise, The Fiesta Tour & Much More.
Hey Ladies, Its been a minute but I’m here to share a fun experience I would totally recommend if you are looking to go on vacay soon and/or never been to Puerto Rico or looking to explore again.
This getaway was one of the most fun by far. I love a trip with great vibes, delicious food, adventures, and great nightlife. Me and Bae (Whitney) made the trip down to PR this time to surprise her best friend for her birthday and to do a few excursions with our friends Fiesta Tour Business. Here are all the fun spots we got to experience this trip!
Cuisine:
This time around we found some delicious places to try on your visit. Don’t be alarmed by the first image. lol Any and Everyone knows that “hole in the wall” places (even though this was not that) have the best food and let me tell you I haven’t been let done yet!
Frutera Flores- PR-3, Luquillo 00773, Puerto Rico
This authentic Puerto Rican food spot is about 10 minutes from Balneario La Monserrate Luquillo Beach. They had amazing empanadas, rice and beans and lots of other delicious dishes. Perfect spot to pick up food and take to the beach.
MojitoLab- C. Marginal, Luquillo, 00773, Puerto Rico
This little shop is on the beach. They had the best mojitos. I got the Margarita Mojito and it was the best mojito I’ve had in a while. Take it down on the beach and Enjoy!
Hijole Cocina Mexicana (Isla Verde)
We did lunch at this spot one day with friends. It was Whitney’s friend's recommendation and she was right. Everything was GOOD! lol We started with drinks my fave was the ginger pineapple margarita. Then we had a fried cheese appetizer which was so good be sure to ask about that. We then shared nachos. These nachos were perfect, every chip had the perfect portion of everything you want. Super easy to share and not messy at all. Trust me just try it! I then got the al pastor tacos which were amazing and everyone enjoyed their taco dish.
Comedor Hotel 801 PR-25, San Juan, 00907, Puerto Rico
We had Sunday brunch at this spot. It was super cute! We ate outside by the pool and started everything off with bottomless mimosas. The waitress wanted us to try every flavor so she was good about bringing us each round. The food was great! I didn’t have the Steak and eggs but everyone who got it was raving about it!
These were our favorite food spots on the trip so definitely try if you plan on going to Puerto Rico in the San Juan area.
The Fiesta Tour PR!!
This experience was sooooo fun! We got to see many hidden gems on the island. Everything was breathtaking!! I would totally recommend booking them to show you around. They will take you on adventures as well as take you on a fun nightlife tour. They are so accommodating and friendly. We will definitely be booking with them next time we come into town.
This adventure we visited:
Palmas Altas Barceloneta- Vast water and rock views a pit stop before Islote.
Islote- A gorgeous mountainous cave with gorgeous views
Gozalandia Waterfalls- This beautiful waterfall is located in a rainforest. You are able to swim and enjoy!
Balneario La Monserrate Luquillo Beach- A beach with authentic Puerto Rican cuisine, amazing mojitos, and unbelievable sunsets.
Book with The Fiesta Tour PR Here.
Beaches:
Balneario La Monserrate Luquillo Beach (40 Mins from San Juan) -This is the beach pictured to the left it is a must visit. You have to try the their Mojitos and yummy authentic empanadas that you can pick up on the way about 5 mins to the beach. It has nice smooth current and the sunsets are unforgettable.
Isla Verde- Much like Condado, San Juan’s most famous beach but not as congested with tourist. It is beautiful and is perfect to grab a bite and take it out on the beach and spend the day. This beach has steady waves but has a nice current.
Condado Beach- This is the beach that most tourists go to. It’s absolutely beautiful, the waves can be rougher than the other beaches so be cautious.
La Placita & Old San Juan
Two places that you have to visit while in Puerto Rico are Old San Juan and La Placita. Both are to different vibes but you will get a taste of the Puerto Rican culture from both.
Old San Juan is the perfect place to take in the scenery and learn a bit about the history of this part of the island. Its super romantic to do dinner with your boo or with girlfriends. They had the cutest little shops, I got an anklet engraved on the spot for $10. It is the cutest little keep sake.
If you're looking for the party, La Placita is definitely your go-to. They have lots of different clubs with different types of music. The club Maui was super fun! I totally recommend trying that one out when you go.

I’m so happy and rejuvenated from this trip. In addition to being to happy to share the experience with you all. I have been to Puerto Rico a couple times before but never experienced it quite like this. After being able to really experience the island I would recommend anyone to visit!
Comment below anything you loved about the island while on your visit!
