Alarmy- If you ever had trouble waking up in the morning, especially since most of our sleep schedules have been off, this app is perfect for you! I decided to try this app after watching a youtube by the name of “2020 Millionaire Entrepreneur Morning Routine” and it changed the game. I do the memory challenge but they have math problems and tasks for you to do upon waking up. By getting the brain going, I believe that really helps with not having the urge to go back to sleep. Give it a try and see if it works for you!
Mint- This is the perfect app to keep track of your finances. It’s budgeting made simple. Mint allows you to sync with your different bank account to track and file your spending activity.
Robinhood: Every successful woman should develop an investment portfolio. Robinhood is nice because it’s simple to use, gives stock advice, and allows for you to purchase stocks with ease. Now is the perfect time to look into getting a few stocks since the market is at an all-time low. Remember Buy Low, Sell High. Stock/Investing post soon to come!
Zelle: What was life even like before the convenience of money transfer services? Send and receive money with a few simple clicks safely from your bank account to any money institution or money service or app.
Flo: Never wonder about when your cycle will start or end ever again. Flo makes it easy to track menstruation through its user-friendly calendar. It also offers different information and quizzes to educate and monitor your health.
Insight Timer: Add guided mediation to your self -care routine with this app. It’s the perfect way to get use out of your smartphone, to reduce stress and anxiety and a great way to start or end your day.
Planta: This app keeps track of when you watered your plants and reminds you when to water them based on the type of plant. It also gives you tips on how to care for your plant babies. Keep your plants happy with this app.
Picture This: Picture this is kind of like the Shazam for plants. Use this app to find out what type of plant you are looking at. Take a picture of the plant and get its name and all of its info. From its name, where it’s from, how to take care of it, etc. I love this app!
Hopper: Select a destination and date range so that it alerts you when flight prices jump and are at their lowest. Book your next trip the smart and savvy way.
Skiplagged: This app allows you to find the cheapest flight to your destination. They have discounted airline tickets from Southwest to Delta available for your next vacay.
Co- Star: If you’re into astrology, download this is a gem. This is like your daily horoscope but based on your individual astrological makeup (natal chart). I have been read up and down by its one-liners that pop. up daily but for good reason. lol Download the app and see what I mean.
Canva: This app allows for you to develop templates for invites, resumes, business cards—anything you can think of really. Host your next event with an easy-to-create but chic and fun invitation.
Foodie: For your photo filter needs this is perfect for the best food and destination photos. Trust me, just give it a try.
Libby: Love, Love, Love this app. Get yourself a library card if you don’t already have one. Hopefully you can get one online during these times but once you have your library card download this app. You will have access to all of the audiobooks within that county’s library system. I have listened to some great reads on this app! So gewd!
Bonus:
Credit Karma: Even though Credit Karma only gives you an average of your overall score its good to have an idea of where your credit is every month. On this app you can see accounts you have open or charged-off and all details you need to analyze what is effecting your credit.
Self: I recently heard about Self and as an adult I’m super excited about this app! Unless our scores are at 800 there is always room for improvement. The app allows for you to build up your credit by making small payments of your choice ($25, $35, $48, or $150) monthly on a certain day every month. After a year, you will get your money back! It’s like a savings account that helps you build your credit! Credit post coming soon by the way!
Peleton: I have a thing for Peleton. lol I think it’s their marketing that has me hooked but currently, they are offering a 90 days free trial to try out the app. They have plenty of classes from muscle building, booty workouts, full-body workouts, yoga, and meditation.
These are a few of my favorite apps that make my life a bit easier. If you have any apps you love please share below!
