I’m so excited to share this new product with you all! I stumbled across this Black Soap Foaming Face Wash through the instagram grapevine and had to give it a try based on all of the amazing results and reviews.

AfokoSkin is a Black owned skincare company owned by Afoko Amelia who is also a YouTuber. Once I did some research, I had to try it and surprisingly my sister got it for my birthday.

One thing you should know, the last time I felt truly comfortable in my skin was high school. That’s the last time I remember not really worrying about blemishes and was super confident, always taking pictures and feeling normal. lol Then in college my skin went crazy! I tried everything (literally) accutane included and went through phases of ok skin but never blemish free. Today, I’m feeling the way I used to feel in high school!

My skin started to clear about a year ago but wasn’t perfect. I was on the hunt for new skin care products and finding this has been a skin life saver.

This foaming Black Soap cleanser is super gentle, soft and luxurious. It is also very moisturizing, unlike most Black Soaps. It has all natural ingredients which I love. Paired with your other fave products in your regimin your skin is going to glow. I haven’t worn makeup for weeks. I’m just like for what?! lol Especially in this summer heat.
